This is the 10th anniversary of Minecraft Hour of Code and our partnership with Code.org.

Step 1

Set up Minecraft education

Make sure you have the latest version installed. You can check your version and update if necessary with these instructions. Then log in and play the Hour of Code lesson in the library. The Hour of Code lesson is available as a free demo for anyone to try!

If you don’t have Minecraft Education, click the link below to download the app. Then launch the app and either select 'Play free demo’ or sign in with your Microsoft 365 Education account (this may be your school email).
