This is the perfect time to set professional goals to bring this exciting and engaging learning space into your classroom and learning community! I’ve been part of this community for over five years and can tell you it’s been a consistent source of energy, inspiration, and fun.

A One-Of-A-Kind Supportive Community

The Minecraft Teacher’s Lounge is a global community founded by its members.  It has grown into a vibrant network of approximately 12,000 educators and is supported by over 1,000 ambassadors from around the world! It’s a safe space to connect with fellow educators, ask questions, provide feedback, share ideas, and engage with the Minecraft Education team. The Minecraft Teachers’ lounge is where you’ll get first access and insights about upcoming features, instructional uses like Lesson Crafter, and general updates!

Because Minecraft is a sandbox game, there are endless possibilities for learning experiences and creative outcomes. With a low threshold and infinite ceiling, the Minecraft Teachers’ Lounge offers a space where creativity is celebrated and seeing each other succeed is prioritized. There are educators, parents, administrators, club sponsors, and more at all levels of experience, so you’ll fit in perfectly, too!

Minecraft Education Ambassador Spotlight

At ISTE Live 2025 in San Antonio, Texas, we asked a few of our Minecraft Education Ambassadors to share any advice to a teacher just getting started and the joy they have seen from students and teachers after using Minecraft Education in their instruction.

"I have had parents with their kids come up to me and say, ‘This is the greatest day of my life.’ And that they are sharing that after competing and sometimes even losing in a Minecraft competition, but still feeling exhilarated that this is learning, that this is education, and it can look as fun as this. That just blows my mind and makes my heart so huge. I love it."

"Minecraft is not a game. It is not. It can be, but it is so much more. In my opinion, it is the greatest learning and teaching tool that exists, and the students can use that to really hone in skills outside of just gameplay. I love it!"

"I believe you have the confidence and learning skills to try out something new because you don’t need to be an expert. You only need to be a facilitator. The kids are going to love it.”

"It’s about making their creativity come alive. They’re seeing their worlds, and their imaginations become real. I see it as an exciting opportunity for a teacher to become a student and let your students do the teaching."
