As a classic teacher, I've been teaching for many years in Cairo. I stayed one year in the English system and then I went back to the French one. Year after year, I became more convinced of the importance of the new technologies in education, especially that I've been working hard to help children with special needs who, most the time, appreciate that new approach in education. Now using Office 365 on an everyday basis, I enjoy more and more the opportunity that it gives me to collaborate, share and build project with my students. As a literature teacher, I found Minecraft very promising and even if the environment I'm working in isn't supportive, I tried my best to include the use of Minecraft in my yearly project. Last May, we used it to enrich a collective ebook. So being fond of classics do not mean going backward. I achieved my PhD on Lucian, an ancient Greek writer, two years ago but still I always keep some time to follow up on the new technologies, especially that I had to provide lessons online to my students in the past three years.
