The structure block, unique to Minecraft: Education Edition, allows you to capture and export your build as a 3D file. This is useful for students to document their work, and supports formative assessment.
First, make sure you are in Creative Mode. (Open the in-game menu, enable cheats and change your game mode to Creative.) Then type this slash command to give yourself a structure block: /give @p structure_block 1 0
Type the E key to open your inventory to access the block, and place the structure block on the ground near the object you would like to export. Fill in the coordinates, and watch your structure appear in the window. Once you have selected the right 'slice' of your build, click Export. This will allow you to save a 3D GLB file, which you can then view in Windows Mixed Reality Viewer, Paint 3D and other apps.
