14. Have you ever made a timeline? How do you select what information is to be placed on your timeline?

Student Activities

To Infinity and Beyond!!!!

You and your class are about to explore and learn about superheroes. Now you may have been asked to research on famous superheroes e.g Ironman, Superman and Batman. You are also asked to make a poster showing all the characteristics to describe the superheroes: but this is different!

 

Now we will focus on creating your own version of superheroes. You are going to make a 3D Virtual characters representing your superhero.  These superheroes will answer questions about themselves. How? Easy! You will program them.

 

Your teacher will have the world set up for your class as a shared world.

Make an NPC (Non-player Character) to Represent that superhero.

Using the /say command and buttons, make the superhero answer the follow three questions:

- Who are You?

 

- What special powers do you have?

 

-What special powers do you have?

 

Get to know the superhero on the Timeline

 

Once you and your class have completed the NPCs, your timeline is now populated with friends and foes that want to get to know you and are ready to be interviewed! Take time to read the stories of all the NPCs and get acquaintance!
