Learning Objectives

  • Students and teachers will discuss the appropriate way to deal with businesses who fail to meet expectations
  • Students will listen to the Leopold family and attempt to fix all of their building concerns.
  • Students will reflect on how they were spoken to by the Leopold family and how it would make them feel if real clients treated them in that manner.
  • Students will be able to respond to their satisfaction level after completing the job for Herobrine Hardware.

Guiding Ideas

What is the best way to deal with a company who has failed to meet your expectations?

Is the client always right? Or do you have the right to let them know how you wish to be treated?

Can the students listen to the needs of the Leopold family and translate them into real and timely solutions?

Can the students reflect on how they were spoken to on the work site and how they would feel in real life?

Can students empathize with the Leopold family and recognize that even with money families can have problems?
