Learning Objectives

  • Students will identify the reasons why David the Builder chose Didgori Valley for fighting against Seljuks
  • Students will know geographical details about Didgori Valley
  • Students will will erect memorial to Didgori Battle by means of Minecraft; they will also create camps and strategic schemes for both sides by means of Minecraft
  • Students will analyze historical sources including manuscripts about Didgori Battle and in the framework of Minecraft they will demonstrate their knowledge

Guiding Ideas

  • Whether the Students will be able to deal with historical sources during the lesson;
  • Whether the Students will be able to make Didgori battle memorial by means of Minecraft on the ground of received information;
