January 29, 2018 | Activity of the Week, design, Vexillology
Calling all vexillophiles! This activity of the week was created just for you. You can use this week’s lesson to study and recreate flags from the real world, or use symbolism and applied design principles to create something entirely new.
Let your flags fly high in this provided world, or export them to the real world and place them on structures. Either way, we want to see the results.
Fun fact: Vexillology, also known as the study of flags, is a synthesis of the Latin word vexillum (“flag”) and the Greek suffix -logia (“study”).
