“…space is for everybody. It’s not just for a few people in science or math, or for a select group of astronauts. That’s our new frontier out there, and it’s everybody’s business to know about space.”
– Christa McAuliffe, Educator
Learn more about the vast technology of spaceships past, present and future, and have your students create their own space-faring craft to embark upon a mission to space. Craft a mission plan, work out the supplies needed, and construct the results in Minecraft: Education Edition. We’ve included a base world to build your creations and use for photos, but your imagination can launch this activity of the week to astronomical levels of fun.
Shoot for the stars, and let us know how far your imagination has traveled this week by tagging us on Twitter (@playcraftlearn) and Facebook!
