Block to School with Teachers Everywhere!

It’s a time that comes only once a year. Every teacher knows the feeling – a blend of excitement, eagerness, and joyful nerves. That’s right, for many of us it’s time to go back to school! And so, we invite you to join the fun and celebrate #BlocktoSchool with Minecraft Education.

For the next few weeks, we’re sharing stories, resources, and content that put teachers at the center and help you plan your school year with Minecraft. There are many ways to get involved: join the community in the Minecraft Teachers’ Lounge, design a customized lesson, or take a one-hour training to learn how to teach with Minecraft Education. You’ll inspire your students and have fun along the journey!


The Joy of Learning

Minecraft Education provides teachers with a range of options for their classrooms, regardless of what subject they teach. Whether you want to create your very own map from scratch, introduce students to a concept with a short build challenge, or embed Minecraft throughout your curriculum, Minecraft Education provides support and content that can meet you – and your students – where you are.

The Lesson Library

The Lesson Library is at the heart of Minecraft Education, and what sets us apart from other versions of the game. It’s where teachers and students can find ready-made, immersive lessons and resources to explore the things they’re most interested in. And this year, we’ve updated the Lesson Library to make it even easier to search and navigate.

 

The Lesson Library is now divided into six core subjects: Mathematics, Science, Language, Arts & Design, Social Studies, and Computer Science. And some of those subjects are even further divided, making it simple for teachers to find exactly the subjects and content they’re looking for. Take a look around and see what you find for your classroom! Want to find something really specific, really quickly? Try our improved search feature, which allows you to search by subject, keyword, age range, content type, or language.

And with Minecraft Education’s AI-powered Lesson Crafter, it’s never been easier to create your own Minecraft lesson from scratch.
