Guiding ideas
In the fourth unit, A Zoo, students will focus on utilize new coding blocks to help them complete more complex coding tasks. Students will also begin to realize that there are multiple ways to solve the same problem; however, certain ways of solving problems can be more efficient.

Computing with Minecraft: Unit 4- A Zoo has three different lessons containing multiple activities to facilitate the intended outcome of creating a zoo in their Minecraft City.

Performance expectations
Each of the lessons has a formative assessment to gauge student understanding of the knowledge and skills taught within the lesson. They can be found at the end of the educator's guide.
