Teacher of Technology in a french college (6th-9th grade) and ICT trainer. I play Minecraft since 4 years : I discovered the game with my 2 kids (11 and 14 yrs old now). My wife and I are both teachers and we use the game with our students (12-14 yrs old) in Technology (architecture) and latin (ancient Rome). I began with the Teacher Gaming version. I’ve set an online Minecraft server (fougerescraft.omgcraft.fr) recreating our city (Fougeres). There is a wonderful medieval castle here and with the help of local historians I lead a team of teachers of my school to recreate our city as it was in 1450 with their students. I previously had several projects with my students : building our school and a church of our town. Moreover, As an ICT trainer I teach colleagues how to use Minecraft in their classroom, wrote several articles on the subject (on my blog and in a French video game paper) and I have a youtube channel to explain how I process.
