  • 1. The students will recognize the different blood vessels: Aorta, artery, arteriole, capillary, venule, vein, Venae cavae,
  • 2. The students will identify the correct way the blood flows in the systemic cycle.
  • 3. The students will improve their critical thinking skills.
  • 4. The students will evaluate the work of their peers.

Guiding Ideas

• Students will be working in groups of five.

• The task is to get out of the escape room.

 

Student Activities

• The only way to open the door is to place blocks in the right order – as the blood cycle.

• Each team member will evaluate every other team members’ collaboration.

 

Performance Expectations

Scoring:

• Scientific knowledge: accurate display of the blood cycle – 50%

• Teamwork: a weighted score of the teacher’s and the team members’ scoring (see the survey link). – 50%
