OUR TOP FIVE TEACHING ACTIVITIES OF 2020

As we near the end of 2020, we wanted to share some of teachers’ most-used Minecraft activities. Give them a try with your students!

  1. Build a Better Bedroom invited learners to reimagine their living space while in lockdown.
  2. Lessons in social-emotional learning encouraged mindfulness, creativity, and digital citizenship.
  3. Build with Bees explored the amazing world of pollinators.
  4. Minecraft Code Town took students on a computer science adventure to repair a small town’s mural.
  5. The new Hour of Code: A Minecraft Tale of Two Villages combined empathy, inclusion, and coding.

ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS OF THE 2020 MINECRAFT EDUCATION GLOBAL BUILD CHAMPIONSHIP
This October, we launched the first-ever Minecraft Education Global Build Championship, challenging learners to create spaces where humans and animals could safely and happily coexist.
